Operations Coordinator — Datacenter Services (APAC Timezone)

Company OverviewReboot Monkey is a global datacenter services provider headquartered in Haarlem, Netherlands, operating 24 green-powered facilities across 6 continents. We deliver colocation, IP transit, smart hands, remote hands, and managed datacenter services to clients worldwide. We're a lean, remote-first team building the infrastructure backbone of the internet.About the RoleThis is the most important hire we are making right now.Currently, our CEO handles all datacenter operations personally: ticket triage, Smart Hands dispatch, SLA tracking, technician coordination, client status updates. That needs to change so the company can grow. You are the person who takes that over. This is not a passive "monitor the dashboard" role. You will be the first point of contact for every operational request that comes in — from Smart Hands dispatch at a facility in Singapore to an emergency remote hands call from a client in Germany. You need to be fast, precise, and calm under pressure.Day-to-day you will:Receive and triage incoming service requests (Smart Hands, Remote Hands, emergency incidents)Dispatch field technicians from our global DCT pool to the correct facility with the correct instructionsTrack SLA windows per ticket and per client — you own the clockCommunicate status updates to clients while work is in progressMaintain the ticketing system (Freshdesk)Coordinate directly with facility operators at all 24 locationsSubmit a shift handover report at the end of every shiftEscalate P1 incidents to the CEO with a clear situation summary within 15 minutesWhat You'll Own (KPIs)These are your KPIs. They are shared upfront because you will be evaluated on them from Day 31 onward:P1 ticket response time: 15 minutes or less (first 30 days: 30 minutes)P2 ticket response time: 2 hours or less (first 30 days: 4 hours)Dispatch completion rate: 95%+ of tickets closed within the contracted SLA windowShift handover report: Submitted every shift end, posted in the ops handover channelSLA compliance rate: 98%+ monthlyA missed SLA can lose a client. That is the standard of precision this role requires.Requirements2+ years of experience in a datacenter, MSP, or NOC environment — non-negotiableHands-on experience with ticket triage and helpdesk operations (ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk, Freshdesk, Zendesk)Fluent written and spoken EnglishAvailable to work during local business hours in UTC+5 to UTC+8Comfortable handling escalations and staying calm under pressureAbility to track multiple open tickets simultaneouslyNice to HavesFamiliarity with DCIM toolsExperience with cPanel/WHM or similarBasic networking knowledge: BGP, DNS, IP routingITIL Foundation certificationExperience writing runbooks or SOPsCompensation and TermsMonthly retainer: EUR 1,000–1,200 depending on experienceArrangement: Freelance / contractor — you invoice us monthlyHours: Full-time, 40 hours/week tracked via HubstaffPerformance reviews: Every 2 weeks for the first 3 months, then monthlyPayment: Monthly, on the 5th of each monthTimezone RequirementUTC+5 to UTC+8 required. HR and Recruitment Specialist (Americas Timezone)

About Reboot MonkeyReboot Monkey is a global datacenter services provider headquartered in Haarlem, Netherlands, operating 24 green-powered facilities across 6 continents. We deliver colocation, IP transit, smart hands, remote hands, and managed datacenter services to clients worldwide. We're a lean, remote-first team building the infrastructure backbone of the internet.About the RoleWe will be direct with you: we have cycled through 84 people in approximately 2 years. Your job is to break that pattern. We are not looking for someone to post jobs and schedule interviews. We need someone who can look at that number — 84 churned in 24 months — and build the structured process that makes it stop. That means quality-over-quantity sourcing, structured interviews with consistent scoring, onboarding that actually prepares people to work, and early performance signal tracking that catches a bad fit in week 2, not week 8.This role is critical to everything else we are trying to build. Without a functioning hiring pipeline, we cannot staff the operations, sales, and finance functions that the company needs to grow. You own that pipeline. Why LATAM?We are building a 24/7 recruitment operation. With our existing team spread across CET and APAC timezones, we need recruitment coverage in the Americas timezone (UTC-3 to UTC-5) to ensure candidates are being sourced, screened, and moved through the pipeline around the clock. Brazil and Argentina are our priority markets for this role due to strong talent pools, timezone alignment, and cultural fit with our global remote team.Day-to-day you will:Manage the full hiring pipeline for all open roles in Recruitee — from sourcing to offerWrite and post job descriptions in Recruitee (you will improve on the ones we already have)Screen CVs against role requirements — moving qualified candidates forward, rejecting unqualified ones fastConduct first-stage screening calls to assess fit, availability, and English fluencyCoordinate trial tasks with candidates and score results against the rubricOwn onboarding for every new hire: send access credentials, set up their first-week schedule, run the 30-minute orientation callTrack hiring pipeline metrics weekly: candidates screened, interviews scheduled, time-to-fill per roleReport to Michel (CEO) weekly with a pipeline updateProvide Americas-timezone recruitment coverage as part of our 24/7 hiring operationOver time: build and maintain an onboarding playbook so the process is consistent regardless of roleWhat You'll Own (KPIs)These are your KPIs. Shared upfront, reviewed every 2 weeks for the first 3 months, then monthly:Candidates screened: 20+ per week during active hiring phasesInterview-to-hire ratio: 5:1 or better (5 interviews for every hire made)Time-to-fill: 21 days or less from job posting to offer accepted, per roleOnboarding completion: 100% of new hires complete the onboarding checklist before their second weekWeekly pipeline report: Delivered every Friday by EODThe primary metric is time-to-fill. Every day a critical role is unfilled is a day the CEO absorbs that work. Speed with quality is the target.Compensation and TermsMonthly retainer: EUR 600–800 depending on experience (competitive for LATAM market)Arrangement: Freelance / contractor — you invoice us monthlyHours: Full-time, 40 hours/weekPerformance reviews: Every 2 weeks for the first 3 months, then monthlyPayment: Monthly, on the 5th of each month for the previous monthWe are a growing company building our team. This is an early-stage hire — you will have direct impact on every person who joins the company after you.Timezone RequirementAmericas timezone required (UTC-3 to UTC-5).Brazil (BRT/UTC-3) and Argentina (ART/UTC-3) are ideal. You must be available during your local business hours to provide Americas-timezone recruitment coverage. You will overlap with our CET team (Europe) in the morning and hand off to our APAC team in the evening — creating true 24/7 recruitment coverage. How We HireApplication review — We review every application within 1–2 business daysInitial video call with Michel (CEO) — 30 minutes. We want to understand your recruitment background, your process for screening candidates, and how you think about reducing churn through better hiring.Paid trial task — A 4–8 hour exercise: review 30 mock CVs for two open roles (Operations Coordinator and SDR), rank the top 5 candidates for each role, explain your reasoning, and draft a reject message and a shortlist invitation email. Compensated at EUR 50–100.Reference check — One call with a previous employer or clientDecision — Within 1 week of completing the trial taskWhy This Role MattersWe have made the mistake of hiring fast and onboarding poorly. The result is 84 people who passed through and left — at enormous cost in CEO time, team disruption, and lost productivity. You are the person who changes that. Every hire you make well is a direct contribution to the company's stability. Every onboarding checklist you maintain is a new team member who gets up to speed in 4 weeks instead of 8.If you have a track record of structured, high-quality hiring and want to own the entire talent function at a growing global company, we want to talk.Apply with: Your CV, a brief note on your ATS experience (especially Recruitee if applicable), and your timezone / available working hours.
