Delivery Manager (Datacenter Field Services)
Job Description
About the role
Reboot Monkey is a global datacenter services company. When a client needs hardware installed, refreshed, decommissioned, or serviced inside a datacenter anywhere in the world, we deliver it. We do not own the datacenters. We orchestrate the work.
We are hiring Delivery Managers who own the full cycle of a datacenter installation: you bring in and qualify the client, you source and dispatch the field engineer, and you drive the job through to a completed, signed-off installation. This role combines sales, project management, staffing, and delivery in one seat, for people who want to be paid on what they actually deliver.
Location
Remote, worldwide. This is a fully remote role open to candidates globally.
What you own end to end
Client intake: qualifying incoming client requests, onboarding new clients, capturing their requirements accurately, and keeping the client pipeline for your region moving from first contact to won work. You are the front door for demand.
Engineer intake: sourcing, screening, and onboarding field engineers in your region. You build and maintain a ready bench of vetted technicians so you can dispatch fast, and you keep their records, skill tiers, and compliance current in our systems. You are the front door for supply.
Client handling: scoping and requirements, statement of work and quote, scheduling and datacenter access coordination (badging, escort, NOC tickets), proactive status updates, escalation management, client acceptance and sign-off, post-install follow up.
Delivery and project management: matching the right engineer to each job, dispatching, parts procurement and logistics, timeline and SLA adherence, quality control before sign-off, and protecting the margin on the job.
Physical scope of the installations you manage: rack and stack (mounting servers, switches, storage), structured cabling (copper and fiber runs, patching, cross-connects), cable management and dressing, power (PDU connections, A and B redundant feeds, load balancing), hardware install and swaps, and decommissioning.
Commissioning and verification: power-on and POST checks, network link verification, IPMI, iDRAC and BMC out-of-band setup, firmware and BIOS validation, cable continuity and labeling checks.
Reporting and the chain of proof
Reporting to a professional standard is a core part of this role, not an afterthought. For every installation you are responsible for closing the full chain of proof:
As-built documentation, rack elevation diagrams, cable schedules and port maps, and asset and serial capture.
Photographic evidence of the work at every stage. All photos must be submitted online into our system and fully accounted for. Every rack, cable run, and serial is documented and traceable. Nothing is missing, nothing is left to memory.
A signed completion report for every job before it is considered done.
If it is not documented and submitted, it did not happen. This discipline is what allows us to bill with confidence and stand behind our work with the client.
Compensation
Base: EUR 800 gross per month
Commission: 2.5 percent of the profit value of every completed installation you deliver.
An installation counts as completed when it is delivered per the statement of work, tested and verified, documented with the full chain of proof and a signed completion report, accepted by the client, and invoiced.
What we are looking for
Fluent English, written and spoken, to a professional business standard. You will run client calls and produce written reports, so clear, correct, professional English is essential.
Senior, experienced professionals. Minimum 10 years in datacenter operations, field services, or technical project management. This is not a junior role.
Hands-on datacenter knowledge: racking, structured cabling, power, and commissioning. You understand the physical work, not just the tickets.
Direct client-facing experience: scoping, quoting, running the relationship, and handling escalations independently.
Comfortable sourcing and vetting field engineers, and building a reliable local bench.
Disciplined on documentation and reporting. You close the chain of proof on every job without being chased for it.
Comfortable working under a base plus commission structure and motivated by delivering completed work.
Available for a full-time B2B contract, 40 hours per week, with overlap into Central European Time.
A professional LinkedIn profile and references available on request.
