Remote Hands in Paris
Euronext says its Paris market gathers more than 800 listed companies and is the home of the benchmark CAC 40 index. Paris also hosts the European Banking Authority and the European Securities and Markets Authority. France-IX, a French internet exchange founded in June 2010, operates points of presence in Paris, as well as in Marseille and Lyon. For finance and network-dependent teams, that concentration is a reason to keep equipment in the city and a reason to need hands on site when something has to be touched. Telehouse - Paris 2 (Voltaire - Léon Frot) stands on Boulevard Voltaire in Paris. Remote hands is the work you cannot do from your desk: a hard reboot, a cable check, a failed component swapped for a spare, a visual check of status lights. You send the instruction, and a Reboot Monkey engineer carries it out in your rack and reports back. Reboot Monkey does not own or run the building.

Our Remote Hands Services
Remote hands covers physical tasks carried out on your instruction. The tasks most requests contain are listed below. Work that needs diagnostic judgement and configuration knowledge is a different service, smart hands, and we say so at the start of a request so the right engineer is sent.
A request starts with your instruction: the rack, the device, the action you want and any check you need afterwards. The engineer carries out exactly that action. If the task is a cable check or a patch, the engineer works in your rack. Reboot Monkey sells the network for the rack as well. It orders cross connects and carrier circuits from the facility operator and the carriers present in the facility, and its engineers install and patch the cabling in your rack. A fibre inspection scope and cleaning kit are available on request when a link needs to be checked before it is blamed.
A second, briefed Reboot Monkey engineer is named as backup for every customer site, so a single absence does not leave your rack without cover. Prices are quoted on request and depend on the customer and the size of the job.
- Reboots and power cycles of servers and network devices on your instruction
- Cable checks, patching and replacement of cabling in your rack
- Component swaps with spares you supply
- Visual checks of hardware, status lights and labelling, reported back to you
- Fibre inspection and cleaning with a scope and cleaning kit, on request
Why Reboot Monkey
Reboot Monkey is a third-party datacenter services operator. It sells rack space, IP transit, leased IP addresses, network and data-centre hardware, together with the services that deliver, install and support them, inside data centres that other companies own and run. It is not a hosting company and not a datacenter owner. For a buyer in Paris this means the engineer in front of your rack is working for you, with no interest in selling you a hosting plan.
As of 2026, Reboot Monkey's field engineers work in 190 countries and more than 400 locations. If your Paris footprint is one site among several, the same way of working applies to the others, which keeps instructions, reporting and escalation consistent across your estate.
On-site work is only as useful as the instruction behind it. We ask for the rack location, the device, the action and the outcome you expect, and we report what was done and what was seen. Where a task turns out to need diagnostic judgement, the engineer says so rather than guessing, and the request moves to smart hands.
How Reboot Monkey Works
These terms apply in every facility in Paris where Reboot Monkey engineers work.
- Response: 1-hour, around-the-clock incident response SLA, and a 15 minute premium response available where technicians are stationed on-site, as a paid add-on. The incident response SLA covers incidents and unplanned requests; on-site, dispatch and resolution times, priority tiers, and planned or scheduled work are agreed per site in the service agreement.
- Monitoring: 24/7 NOC monitoring across all facilities, covering IPMI, iDRAC, SNMP, temperature, power, network signals.
- Hardware: vendor-neutral technicians for Dell, HP, Cisco, Juniper and Arista equipment.
- Independence: independent from facility operators (not Equinix SmartHands, not NTT staff).
- One agreement: single provider across cities, so a customer in several cities needs only one agreement.

How fast can Reboot Monkey respond in Paris?

How is Reboot Monkey different from the facility operator's own staff?

How do I get started with remote hands in Paris?
Send the site, the equipment and the task through the contact form. Reboot Monkey replies with a quote and an engineer plan for that facility. Once agreed, the customer adds the engineers to the facility's access list and the remote hands work is scheduled under the operator's rules.
